General Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions (GTC) for BBQ Leadership Forge

 

I. Scope of Application

  1. These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for participation in the weekend workshops for executives offered by BBQ Leadership Forge.

  2. Deviating, conflicting, or supplementary terms and conditions of the participant shall not apply unless their applicability is expressly agreed upon in writing.

     

II. Contracting Parties

III. Description of Services

  1. BBQ Leadership Forge offers workshops for executives that are always held as weekend events on-site.

  2. The following course offerings are provided: 

    • Beginner Course (Level 1)

    • Level 2 (price upon request)

    • Level 3 (price upon request)

  3. The course fee includes course materials and catering; accommodation is not included and must be booked separately.

  4. A discount of 25% on the respective course fee is granted when a friend is recommended.

  5. Special conditions occur for special events – e.g, Kick Off and others

     

IV. Booking and Conclusion of Contract

  1. Workshop bookings can be made via the website or by email.

  2. The contract is concluded only upon the express confirmation of the booking by BBQ Leadership Forge.

  3. A minimum of 6 participants is required. If this number is not reached, BBQ Leadership Forge reserves the right to cancel the workshop.

  4. A maximum of 20 participants shall not be exceeded.

     

V. Prices and Payment Terms

  1. The participation fee for the Beginner Course (Level 1) is € 999 per person net plus 19% German VAT. For Levels 2 and 3, prices are provided upon request.

  2. Accepted payment methods include prepayment, PayPal, and bank transfer.

  3. Upon booking confirmation, a down payment of 20% of the total fee is required. This down payment is non-refundable.

  4. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before the start of the course.

     

VI. Cancellation and Withdrawal

  1. A cancellation by the participant is possible up to 7 days before the course begins. In such a case, a cancellation fee of 20% of the course fee will be retained.

  2. In the event of cancellation less than 7 days before the course begins, the full course fee (100%) becomes due.

  3. BBQ Leadership Forge reserves the right to withdraw from the contract if unforeseen circumstances make the conduct of the workshop impossible. In such a case, any payments made will be refunded immediately.

     

VII. Liability and Risk Notice

  1. BBQ Leadership Forge excludes liability for: 

    • Travel issues,

    • Loss of valuables, and

    • Damages resulting from the gross negligence of the participants.

  2. Participation in the workshops is at the participant's own risk.

  3. The workshops include activities such as outdoor activities, wood chopping, dealing with open fire, handling sharp tools, and exposure to heat. Participants are expressly informed of the risks associated with these activities.

     

VIII. Data Protection

  1. For the purpose of processing the booking, the following personal data will be collected and stored: name, first name, email address, telephone number, and address.

  2. These data will be used exclusively for processing the booking and for contacting the participant.

  3. Data will only be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of the contract or if required by law.

     

IX. Photo Consent

  1. By booking the workshop, the participant gives explicit consent for photos to be taken during the workshop and used for advertising and reporting purposes.

     

X. Final Provisions

  1. German law shall exclusively apply.

  2. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from the contractual relationship is Wittmund.

  3. Should individual provisions of these GTC be or become invalid in whole or in part, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.

  4. Amendments or supplements to the contract must be made in writing.
